Practice Closure Notice: Dr. Farah Daya is closing her family practice and will transition out of family medicine. Starting January 6, 2025 patients will be seen by locum doctor Dr. Sudeshika Wijekoon. See additional details in the departure notice HERE.

Dr. Wijekoon is offering flexible appointment options including weekday, evening, and Saturday in-person visits. Additional in-person appointments have been opened starting January 6, 2025 and are available to book now.

What This Means for You:

  • Existing Appointments: Any upcoming appointments you have scheduled will now be with Dr. Wijekoon—no action is required on your part.

  • New Appointments: Moving forward, appointments can be booked with Dr. Wijekoon in the same way as before.

We understand that this news may come as a surprise. Each patient of Dr. Daya will be guaranteed a family physician at Citrus Medical if they choose to remain at Citrus Medical.

About Dr. Sudeshika Wijekoon

Dr Sudeshika Wijekoon obtained her medical degree from Imperial College London, UK. She subsequently trained in Family Medicine in Windsor, UK. Prior to coming to Canada she was working as a family physician in West London, UK and as a jail doctor. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine but has a particular interest in mental health, women’s health and musculoskeletal medicine. She is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to patients of all age. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with friends and going on walks with her dog Coco.
